The Great Gympie Duck Race has sadly been postponed – we are rescheduling to the Saturday 13 November – same place, same time - The Wier Mary River, (east side of Kidd Bridge) 11:00am to 1:00pm.

With the rain received in the Mary River catchment areas last week and rain & storms predicted this week, we ducksided that with the current condition of the river and changes that occur so quickly, we believe in the interests of safety for all, this was the best action to take.

We are hoping that in 3 weeks the river will be at a safer level for our Duck Wranglers. Your hardworking P and C will be there on the day selling goodies and raising funds for your school.   

The benefit is you have 2 more weeks to buy tickets!  Don’t forget every duck sold raises funds for Gympie Central.  Online sales are still open also and yes you can choose to allocate Central as your school to support.

Craft Club is going great! We will get started on Christmas Crafts in a couple weeks. We have a few kids successful at crocheting “Worry Worms”. There has been ots of beautiful beading happening and some have been working on diamond art. 

Craft Club donations needed - With the kids getting right into Craft Club on Tuesdays, we are now seeking some donations so we can keep this activity going. Any craft items that you could spare would be greatly appreciated, e.g. beads for threading. Thank you in advance.

The Student Council have started selling Icy Cups on Thursdays and they are selling very well. Thank you for supporting their initiatives!! 

Great Day Out is coming up - for siblings of special needs children - a great day of fun without responsibility or worry for their siblings.

Activities are still to be finalised, but will include horse riding, archery tag, swimming and disc golf.

Please let me know if you are interested as there are limited numbers. If costs are an issue please contact me and I will work with you to support you and your child.  It is a great opportunity to let siblings have fun away from the usual cares at home.
